It's absolutely insane that Stephen Colbert is #1 in late night, beating Kimmel by a little and Fallon by a lot And why? The president doesn't like him & the now former owners of CBS wanted their sale of the company to go through. The mob boss presidency.

Colbert got silenced because the person who didn't like him had something the network's owners wanted, no rules broken. How should this work?

I would say it is also because Colbert no longer has any qualms about having who he wants and saying what he wants, and everyone wants to watch because who knows what is going to happen. It used to be sort of a snide thing. Also, Trump totally jumped the shark, so it’s more of a IDGAF thing.

Jimmy Kimmel’s fearlessly honest & humorous monologues are absolutely packed with the very important transgressions of Trump’s criminal regime. While I like Colbert and am disgusted by the corruption of CBS, many would truly grieve the loss of the Kimmel Show.

Just wait until you see what is replacing Colbert. IMO, drivel. Not remotely funny. I'll watch Kimmel (even tho many of his bits are lame, IMO). And back to Fallon's Friday night "Thank you notes." I dropped CBS and Paramount weeks ago. Lame. Untruthful. Dull. Pablum.

Among all the other things he's killing, he's killing network TV. Some are OK with this. I'm not. Lots of people can't afford any media other than network TV and public media, which they are also trying to kill. So much evil.

When Colbert is unleashed, there will be more hell one Trump's head than he ever dreaded. More people will stop watching CBS (I gave up 60 minutes months ago) and they will pay a price.

CBS & ABC both paid felon double digit millions to keep their licenses. They now must obey his every command. NBC is trying to hold on to their broadcast license. Ppl STILL don’t understand that we have no truth in our news. About all news channel, & print media, is PROPAGANDA. Plain & simple.

Networks don't have licenses. CBS and ABC capitulated for different reasons. Their broadcast licenses wasn't one of them--only individual stations are licensed. And the vast majority of ABC/CBS stations aren't owned by the networks.

"Leave the gun, take the cannoli" He's been called by his first name for so long he thinks he *IS* one in La Cosa Nostra <cuckoo, cuckoo>

Is the fact that Colbert's show loses 40 million dollars a year a factor in it being canceled? If "progressives" truly support him, why are they not buying enough of the products in his commercials to make his show, and his multi-million dollar salary profitable?
