A car is not a weapon,it’s a way of transportation. A gun is a weapon. It is made to be a weapon and kill people.A vehicle is made to transport people to and from places. 🤦‍♀️Don’t act stupid nor make stupid remarks to compare two completely different items. Guns not vehicles is the #1 killer of kids

if the number of people killing each other with guns is on par with something that's not primarily used a weapon, i think that's even more indicative of how badly we need to improve transportation safety

more than half of those gun deaths are suicides, and don't accurately portray the the hazard to the general public. if 50 people were instead killing themselves every day with their cars, our roads would be significantly safer, but we would have the same number of fatalities.

According to your own data there are still 14 states where car deaths outpace gun deaths. Don't think this is helping your argument like you think. 50 years ago you'd be arguing against seatbelts and support drunk driving.

A knife is not a weapon; it's something people use to chop food. A knife is just a way to help people eat. Think about it. Also, some folks do use their cars as weapons; ask any cyclist. Just the other day, I had a driver swerve deliberately into me because they were made they to wait 2 seconds.

🤦‍♀️The difference is a gun was deliberately made to kill. A knife was made to cut, chop, slice and dice food. A vehicle is made to transport people. Please give me a study that says more people die from deliberate vehicle violence or deliberate knife violence compared to gun violence.

Guns have only killed more children than cars for the last 4 years. Prior to 2020, car crashes were the leading cause of death in children for decades. In addition, diseases related to pollution created by cars kill tens of thousands every year. I'm for both car and gun control.

Good on you hope you keep spreading the word Here in BC, BCliberals said you could use hands-free phones b/c too lazy to read the research and it’s not holding the phone while you’re driving. It’s the divided attention that’s the threat. All cell phone use should be banned while driving

A driver in DC on Dec 24 mowed down and killed a pedestrian on a sidewalk. No arrest has been made and MPD isn't showing much effort to find the suspect, who fled on foot. No press conferences, no press releases, no request to the public to turn this suspect in. Another dead body on the car altar
