I think this is a bad faith reading as well. I think your wording was poor and at a glance I took it that way as well before digging deeper. Blocking trans women who are on edge at the moment and not currently giving cis journalists the benefit of the doubt doesn’t seem like the right move.

I admit that it took me some time and some call outs from established accounts.

It rivals the run up to the Iraq war when they would just feed W warmongering propaganda without telling the readers about the provenance. They got a lot of people killed. European papers who didn't have that access had very different coverage.
