Good morning with good news: EVs in UK had best month ever in September & were 45% autos sold! Full-electrics (BEV) surged 36% to a record & were 28% of sales. Plug-in hybrids were 17%. Chinese EVs are available in UK. UK is world's 7th largest auto market. electrek.co/2026/10/02/u... #energysky

on that topic I noticed a god damn Silverado EV here in Reykjavík, all nine thousand pounds of it. and they said GM couldn’t sell cars overseas

I will say it’s not all that different from a big SUV. there are a gazillion Land Rovers here that are just as huge
