Now, I know net neutrality is dead as a doornail, and this is not Starlink's standard consumer service anyway, but it kind of seems like the clearest possible illustration for what a service provider can do without net neutrality.

I think I would prefer the government not to have the ability to strong arm individual oligarchs this way and would prefer instead that we just not have oligarchs as a class and focus on wealth taxes etc. there are national security levers to remove musk from decision making short of nationalizing.

I do think he's made his case a bit too much on the idea that Musk did do this without any coordination/authorization from the Trump admin. Both him and they are known liars after all. But that ambiguity should still be sufficient to make the larger point than ambiguous lines of control are bad.
