Had a flexible nasendoscopy today (camera up the nose and into the throat) because I’ve had a sore throat since August. Lemme tell ya, you do not want a flexible nasendoscopy. When it was done he was like “you did that without anaesthesia, well done!” I could have had anaesthesia?!

When I was 12 I broke my wrist and they had to put one of the bones in place before the cast. I asked for anesthesia. Two weeks after removing the cast I broke it again playing football (I'm an idiot), and this time the doctor said anesthesia was not an option, so it was painful.

Years later I found out my father told the guy to make up some bullshit to not put anesthesia so I would learn the lesson. I still don't know how to process that 😅 But hey, I was careful and didn't break it again!

Had to do this 3x a few years ago it was not fun
