Failed. He does still have it (a 38 not an 88) but it now chews tapes instead of playing them. It was always quite keen on that.

Hi, depending on where you are there may be a sound archiving service at your local archive. I worked in the Bristol hub for the British Library’s Unlocking Our Sound Heritage project and they had 11 hubs around the UK. Worth a look - great engineers and gear! Happy to DM if you want more info
