It's nearly 5pm, and I've been in Emergency since 11am. Don't worry your gorgeous heads, though. No one's treating me like I'm dying (yet haha) and my eyes are working in concert again instead of googling around in my head willy nilly. I will rise! (Or walk unaided again, either/or.)

Oh, ugh! The ER is not a fun place! Sending healing light and love for your condition and a hope that you are seen soon and that any issues are discovered asap.

I'm not sure I can call this a recommendation, but I've found, on more than one occasion, that passing out gets you into an exam room pretty quickly (and a snaggle of electrodes attached to your body). As for an examination, well, that's another matter, but they do want to clear that room sometime.

The first shift was speedier because they had all experienced me hanging on to them to walk straight. The shift change made things a bit slower.

I've had the electrodes today! But I didn't understand reality very well earlier, so I just let things happen to sort out later.

Saskatchewan's right wing government has been steadily undermining everything good about our health care. Harper is a paid consultant. Joy! But every nurse here has been kind and accommodating and patients have kept calm and carried on the whole time.

In my experience, we are blessed with absolutely stellar staff in the Regina hospitals! Even though they're overworked and underpaid they go over and above to care for their patients.

I'm hoping I get out of here with nothing more than antibiotics, but it's been a weird few days with my jaw also unhinging and locking about a half-inch open on the weekend. I fixed that one myself! Good as new, if it's unrelated.

We got to the ER at 11am, and we're finally out of there at 8:45pm. I'm alive! And it turns out that I don't have stress damage on my heart, I don't show intestinal inflammation, and I've been loaded up with a litre of saline and excellent stomach acid defeaters. I'm a healthy recovering mystery.

Today is about rest and hydration, so I'm catching up on internet dramas (I love petty beefs), and sleeping. Also, I will reunite with my dear ibuprofen now that I've kept a tiny sliver of tourtière down. Me and ibuprofen, sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g.

And another thing, that entire litre of saline they feed into me was brilliant. I would like one daily.

Saskatchewan has had a far right government over the last about 20 years, and they've been chipping away at healthcare the whole time. And universal healthcare in Canada originated here! Luckily, demographically, they're losing their hold.

Russian and American interests have pushing into Canada for decades to. Much of the separation stuff coming out of Alberta comes from foreign interests masquerading as Canadian "patriots" and separatists (also in Quebec).

Same. I still don't know what this is, but I've had blood taken, an ECG, and a urine sample, so I'm invested in this long day.
