Biden could not predict two Democratic Senators not voting with their president when he had a majority. Legislation that should passed would likely have changed the election.

That wasn't on the last day of his presidency, though.

Somehow I feel his last day would’ve been drastically different if those two voted with their president.

If the Democrats want to reboot this is where it starts. They say "This was Biden's big failure.." This is why we lost confidence. We can't begin to trust them until they fully understand that being a pussycat is no answer being overthrown, even if it only lasted a few hours the first time.

Even better if Biden himself gave a *very short* speech that begins.. "This is where I fucked up.." And then recount the events of January 6, 2021, and why his administration's response to that was horribly wrong and was the reason we're in such a deep hole now.

Want to go for the home run? A few days later Kamala Harris gives a very short speech herself saying the big mistake she made was not campaigning on the platform that "Biden fucked up bigtime, he didn't close and the door." And then she would retire, step back and let us start over.

Only Democrats have agency

If you leave the gate open and the dog gets into the kitchen and eats all the food, whose fault is that? It's a damn dog. The only chance you have to stop this is on your side. Voldemort cannot be shamed, you either kill him or lose to him. I don't like losing to fascists.
