god i hate making art

i'm literally not an artist i'm just a person who can sit and force their arm to move 1000000 times until some kind of picture comes out

that's kinda the same thing though

Maybe. It becomes so technical and means-to-an-end for me where I'm just focused on arriving to a destination. Like driving in the car for 8 hours and being relieved and exhausted when you arrive. I don't enjoy the process at all and I suspect a "real" artist would.

hmm, some of the stuff that I'm like, the most happy to have made, in retrospect, was not necessarily the most enjoyable process. though overall I guess I do find drawing fun so idk (won't argue)

weirdly enough I also kinda suck at one-off illustrations, in the sense of like, being able to just sit down & draw a thing on a paper without it being either from life (plant drawings etc) or built around some idea/written sequence. always wished I were more of an amano type person, but, alas
