Fuck Susan Collins and especially fuck superPACs backing her, but if someone wants to steal off of doorsteps then looking like a campaigner - or even signing up and being one - is probably pretty good camouflage.

As someone who has run paid canvass programs, to me this is just an example of how they don't really work. This guy probably isn't a Republican! He just responded to an ad offering a good hourly and flexible scheduling! He's probably canvassed for Planned Parenthood or LCV before!

His tattoo seems pretty on brand for the Republican party… I doubt he’s canvassed for anything that’s not part of the republican agenda.

Yes, the meaning is implied. But that’s not a rallying cry you hear from Democrats… Even the font of the tattoo is on par with Republicans. Democrats haven’t been running around talking about civil war for the past few years.
