IMO, using AI to write blogs weakens the credibility of the author. If I find a great post that supports a point of view I have (usually about HTMX, tbf), I can’t in good conscience share it to colleagues if AI wrote it.

I don’t mind some someone honing it, giving it to AI and using the feedback to change it - the it’s still that person doing the writing and it’s their thoughts and knowledge in the text. But just getting AI to write it is something I’m totally against.

Use AI if you want to hone your point. But when you just outsource your thinking to AI it’s lazy, pointless, and just annoys people. [no ai was used in the process of this post ☺️]
