I can't go back to the regular YouTube UI after this ๐Ÿ˜… Obsidian Reader now makes the transcript interactive so you can scrub, highlight, auto-scroll. It feels so nice.

interactive transcripts are so underrated. being able to jump straight from a highlighted snippet to the exact moment in the video is how video should've always worked for note-takers.

this is the kind of detail that makes a reader actually replace the native app instead of just augmenting it. interactive transcripts turn passive video into a capture surface โ€” seriously impressive.

This really is a great feature. Unfortunately in other languages I can only use it if there are no english subtitles. Otherwise I always get the english transcript no matter what language the original audio. Is there any way to choose "de" instead of "en" for the language?

one thing I would as for the already brilliant reading mode is an easier "exit" button. It requires some thinking before I can think of how to exit the reader mode when the website doesn't work well in the mode~ Again, thanks for the excellent work!!

any way you enter Reader mode also acts as an exit: - hotkey - context menu - extension button (if you use open in Reader) - popup book button
