Trump’s meme coin is a scam to enrich insiders. A couple dozen “whales” made nearly $2 billion soon after launch in early 2025. Then, the coin crashed and lost over $4 billion for over 2 million retail investors—including many everyday Americans. My @morningjoe-msnow.bsky.social Chart.

Just like every Ponzi scheme. Oh yeah, we have to call them Multi-Level Marketing schemes, per lawyers for Ponzi schemes. (Amway) The toxically capitalist GQP is abusive and knows it, so they soften the language instead of changing their behavior. They’ve never wanted accountability.

If someone bought this as a legitimate investment then they are getting burned investing in something Trump related and that should be no surprise. If they buying it to curry favor with Trump then they knew the deal going in.

“…a sucker’s born every minute” I’m pissed Trump and his failsons get the corrupt money— but have ZERO sympathy for the idiots, racists, and losers who put their money in and got hosed. 🎻

Some people call this TRICKLE DOWN ECONOMICS. But we need to remember that there's an inherent part of this crypto scam, which is GUSH UP ECONOMICS. It's a way to transfer often moderate amounts of money from millions of people to obscenely enrich the already super rich.

“Suckers and losers…” DJT But seriously who the heck would put any money into anything from that crime family? Who the heck is a witness to this family over the last forty years thinks “I know I’m going to invest in the crypto or meme coins or a condo…made by the DJT family? Suckers and losers

Hopefully Americans learn the lesson that this is what happens when a con artist is elected president. Please tell me this will never happen again.

I would bet, in fact, I’m sure that my friends who despise Trump the most, are not aware of the things that Rattner brought up this morning. I’m sure that his ardent supporters aren’t either. They probably wouldn’t even care. Why isn’t this Front page news every day? We are not served well..
