I am very disappointed with you @streamwithmeld.com. I don’t care if it’s just code or not, I’m not using AI in my stream. There are so many other things you could have been working on, and the fact this is what you decided to do, is really disappointing.

Also you can generate 2D and 3D images easily with spark, they always look garbage but that's 3 jobs you are trying to take, coder, 3D artist and 3D artist. What do you mean doesn't generate art.

Nope. I was planning on switching, but I don't want vibecoded AI slop as part of content creation. I won't be recommending your software. Period.

As a fellow coder, absolutely true. Coding is a creative work as much as art and LLM generated code takes away as much from deves as image generation takes away from artists.

Welp, I'd been eyeing meld for a while and had been experimenting with it for a switch from OBS, but genAI is an absolute deal breaker. Also, code it a creative pursuit just like any art. GenAI hurts developers in the exact same way it hurts artists and musicians.

You can try to justify that AI making code isn't gen-AI until you're blue in the logo. But you're wrong, and we know better. This was my first impression of what Meld Studio is, and I'm 100% turned off from even considering using it. As well as all the other VTubers I know who've seen this slop.
