What a disaster. Lutnick is a con man working for a grifter. No one will renegotiate any trade deals with the US while Trump is in office. No one trusts him.

How in the world has our country declined to the point where an idiot like this gets away with just blatantly lying to us right in front of our faces on broadcast television? Negotiating a trade agreement like NAFTA, USMCA takes teams of experts from all three countries and many years.

And renegotiating NAFTA again is not happening any time soon. Lutnick says here "a year from today". Good to know. I am going to start agitating for Chinese automakers in Canada. Factories and their products. They have some very interesting EVs.

So the deal he made was a bad deal yet he is supposedly the master of the art of the deal and we should trust him. Why would any trading partner trust an administration that wants to change a deal they agreed to and now find it a bad deal.

Why would anyone make a deal with this country now?

He’s in violation of the agreement he negotiated. Good luck getting Canada and Mexico to come to the negotiation table and be willing to offer much. Maybe as part of the negotiation he can rename it. How about North American Free Trade Agreement?
