Please inform your state’s residents of the names of their local Medicaid programs, so they’ll know how to prepare for the coming cuts. They’ll also then know their program is actually Medicaid.

I've been looking for something like this! It will be important to to remember to say things like "Medicaid work req. and food aid restrictions start right after the election - vote for the candidate who will work to reverse that."

The Democratic Party needs to "teach" this to its constituency. This should be on big screens at every town hall. Every Point is to be gone over and over again so people know a year from now. The Big Ugly Bill is tied to thousands of public servants’ jobs, America’s global standing, and working-class futures. It’s billionaire rot disguised as reform. Corporate greed is calling the shots—and we all pay. We should stop the rescission before the damage becomes permanent.

Calls and emails to Congressional offices do work. When we’ve lobbied Republican offices, we’ve often heard that the Member agrees with us, but hasn’t heard from constituents on the issue. Members need cover from their constituents in order to stand up to the administration. Call or write today!

This suggests they expect future elections. They'll try to rig them like they did 2024, but it looks like they're uncertain they can win or can cancel 2026 or 2028.
