Pretty sure the joke in the article is saying that Purina doesn't care about cats/calls them ”nasty". Did the real company actually do something that hurt a bunch of cats recently?? I googled it but there's mainly older articles about people's cats getting severely ill from their food

Everyone that is mad needs to touch grass. Its satire. I get that cats suffering in real life is tragic. I rescue cats, reality is they live on donated half-eaten bags of fancy feast coated in rancid fats and flies most of the time in shelters already. If you care, go volunteer and stop whining
