Fucking hope so

I am by no means an expert, but I think many of the “if”s in that article could be replaced with “when”s, and many of the “could”s by “will”s. And I’m gleefully looking forward to it.

It almost certainly will, the question is when?

If AI is mostly hot air, why would the burst of that take profitable conpanies down and endanger world economy? The investments will be lost of course, but the use of AI within certain segments will also still contribute to growth. So it´s more the circular investments, that is the issue.

Please please, some one start the boulder rolling (down a hill into a data centre or three).

But they're using models to predict markets. And you have to wonder if they are trained to make favorable predictions. They're using models to predict many things

If the cost of RAM and GPUs comes down, it'll be worth it.
