LG TVs Snoop Your Local Network, Listen To You When ‘Off’ LG hasn't been making many friends lately. It annoyed some LG "smart" TV users recently when it tried to force them to use Microsoft's Copilot... https://www.techdirt.com/2026/09/15/lg-tvs-snoop-your-local-network-listen-to-you-when-off/

Four years before Never Trumpers existed, Ornstein and Mann had clearly identified the problem. It's what Liberals had already been warning about (and had been mocked for) for decades. It wasn't "Trump". It was the Republican party. www.brookings.edu/articles/let...

The Republican Supreme Court hates black people.
🚨BREAKING: The U.S. Supreme Court (SCOTUS) has allowed Alabama to select a different map for this year’s congressional elections in a stunning, last-minute move to interfere with another state primary election that has already begun. www.democracydocket.com/news-alerts/...

This is absolutely outrageous. SCOTUS reinstated Texas gerrymander 15 weeks before primary because they claimed it was too close to election to block it but now allowing Alabama to gerrymander one week before primary after trial court found map was intentionally discriminatory against Black voters
#BREAKING: Over dissents from the three Democratic appointees, #SCOTUS issues “GVRs” in the Alabama cases—vacating district court injunctions & remanding for further proceedings in light of Callais. In practice, this means Alabama can now redraw its congressional districts in time for the midterms:

Thomas Mann & Norman Ornstein -- two establishment institutionalists, the opposite of radicals -- hit the nail on the head way back in 2012. They were ignored & marginalized for it, but subsequent events have proven them 100% correct.

Who possibly could have seen the landmark Supreme Court decision of LEOPARDS v. PEOPLE'S FACES (2024) leading to this moment?
Chief Justice John Roberts warned against personal attacks on the judiciary, telling an audience that while criticism of opinions is fair game, “personally directed hostility” is dangerous and must stop. https://cnn.it/41eWoiw

The Trump administration could really restore confidence by getting the entire Cabinet to ride a tanker through the Straits of Hormuz to show everyone how safe and easy it is now. They could bring along a lot of MAGA influencers and Fox News hosts to broadcast it all live!
Bessent: "That was always in our planning -- the chance that the US Navy or perhaps an international coalition will be escorting tankers through. There are tankers coming through now. We know that they have not mined the Straits."
