I’m waiting for more news before O get excited. I love the original series a lot. (It’s why we are rewatching it - again - for our podcast)

The way things go these days, the show will probably show how Apophis was actually a visionary „job creator“ genius who was unjustly vilified by the (traditionally leftist) American military.

I sure hope it's not a reboot after Amazon shot down the previous pitch. Because if it's a reboot that means it'll be the most watered down series that'll appease no-one but the Amazon suits.

Can’t wait for the theme park ride.

I wonder if Joseph Mallozzi will be part of it again. I need to ping him an email.

Ben Browder as the general in charge. Christopher Judge as a trainer of new SG teams. Amanda Tapping as the science officer on base. Michael Shanks as a leader of a beta site.

Hhhhhhmmmmmmm....... Amazon shot down the first attempt because it was too faithful to the Stargate we know. This means if this gets through... We're looking at the type of series that will make headlines like "Bold New Direction With Original Ideas", and alienate those who know Stargate.

Episode 1: Since they have literally no reason to keep the Stargate secret anymore (all the Big Bads have been defeated) they finally reveal its existence to the public. Episode 2: Humans from Earth start spreading out into the galaxy via stargates and ships Episode 3: New Big Bads come around

Stargate is back. Stargate is gone. Stargate is back. Stargate is gone. Stargate is back. ....x~~~over the years. Ah we'll see again, we'll see.
