The movie focused on a character study of Neil Armstrong being personally and emotionally distant after having to cope with personal tragedy. Making it the story of a character who spent his time LITERALLY mooning around.

Saw at the cinema and loved it. Re-watched it at home a couple of months ago and I adored it. It's an absolute tragedy how such a masterpiece of film-making got overlooked due to meat-headed culture war bullshit. With the recent loss of Margaret Hamilton the 1202 alarm bit feels a bit poignant.

The visuals, the music, the shot composition. It's astounding. Every month or so, I have to dig my copy out and watch this scene. In the cinema, when you first see the lunar panorama and the music crashes in, it took my breath away.
