Arrowhead Stadium and Berlin's Olympiastadion share similar capacities as World Cup venues. Yet Arrowhead has 19,000 parking spaces served by one local bus, while Olympiastadion has 660 spaces and three rapid train stations. We are truly not ready for the World Cup.

Thinking that in North America, this is where that coelacanth of transportation infrastructure, the uncomfortable yellow school bus, gets pressed into service. Welcome, World! It'll be fine, though, europeans are accustomed to renting them out, driving around their city, and partying on them.

Bids that would have been better i.e. transit and/or centrally-located stadium: Edmonton, Baltimore (w/ or w/o DC combo), Denver, Nashville; Vegas, Detroit, SLC, LA Coliseum; Indy; Chicago. Worst accepted bid locations: SF Bay, KC, DFW, Miami. Should be more + later-stage matches in Canada & Mexico.

Dallas. They quite frankly are not up to the task of getting 90k people to that arena who do not have their own car and are too arrogant to care. Arlington is flat out not part of DART. Kansas City will see this as a challenge to up their game and show the best the city has to offer.
