"I just got a huge tax cut! Think I'll create some jobs!" — said nobody. Ever. Job growth depends on demand for product. Period. Henry Ford knew that, so he gave workers enough money to afford his cars. Later, his antisemitism won him the highest award Nazi Germany could give a foreigner.

They do, but it's not just the Billionaires in America. It's the Top 10%. •Own 71.1% of all U.S. Wealth •Own 84.38% of private business wealth •Own 87.21% of corporate equities and mutual fund wealth •Take home 48.3% of all U.S. Income And it's not just Republican; it's also Democratic policies.

I made a post earlier saying this economic mess was designed to lower prices of stocks and other assets so the rich could grow richer. The deportations, DEI, threatening law firms, sharing military secrets on Signal, doge, are diversions from the grift taking place in front of us.

Extorting favours from countries will be very difficult with the animosity that has been built up. Destroying generational goodwill tends to have that effect. The US can no longer be trusted. This is the global message that Americans do not hear.

So prices will never drop, people will suffer here & globally, crime will go up due to hunger, debt holders will be empowered to throw poor in debtors prison with slave labor in the fields, & Trump will unleash his military for the final boot on the necks of the serf. Billionaires be damned?

Of course they will make it back and get even wealthier. That's the whole point of the Trump hoax and over 70 million Americans were stupid enough to fall for it. Lutnick said it all when he claimed his mother in-law would never complain for missing her SSN check, only those committing fraud.

The Trump tariff strategy is based on countries and not product categories, which indicates that the true intent is based on political leverage and/or corporations willing to pay Trump a transactional fee for an exemption.

From the jump-his entire scheme is the GRIFT-. He will milk this position for literally EVERYTHING he can steal, while taking orders from the evil cadre who kept him out of jail.

"pay me an "I'm so sorry" fee, and I'll think about turning your power back on" That's his idea of "deal making" Just as not paying his contractors what they were owed was his version of savvy business pracices He cheats and lies. He's a lazy cheater in everything.

Same shit. Different day. TFGs have been insider trading like mad. Forbes released that there are now 3,028 billionaires in the world. Probably a few more by the time markets closed this week. Disgusting. While my almost 65 y/o husband w cancer is worried he might not get social security?! Bullshit!

This will only be exacerbated by robotics, AI, and our tax policies, which are part of the systematic failures. Remember that in Q4 2024, Americans had 17.9 Trillion in debt and only 724 billion in savings collectively. While 62.2% are living paycheck to paycheck.

Of course they will. Just like those that have any disposable income/flexible savings are currently buying up blue chip stocks at a 10-30% discount. None of this will hurt those that have a cushion. It will wipe out those that don’t. Promises made. Promises kept.

Unlike what Gordon Gekko claimed, greed is not good. The desire for an honest living and a comfortable, healthy life is, but this obsession for absurd levels of wealth is extremely detrimental. It is used to justify the worst human sentiments.

Maybe it is better described as a Rent-seeking activity. Rent-seeking increases one's wealth without creating new wealth, often by manipulating the political or social environment. Or even predatory capitalism. Biden and the dems thought it would all be fixed with a 1% tax on stock buybacks in 2023.
