well, I don't know what it tells us, are the stock low, or is it a good value proposition. The concept is good, but the price is steep.

The price is hight sure, but totally coherent (if not even lower) with the price a of an equivalent hand made PC. So yeah… PC are expensive this days ><‘ and we should expect consoles to follow the same price line in a not so distant future

Given that cpu and gpu are not replaceable, I would not compare that to hand made pc. Plus hand made pc can be made for cheaper especially when considering second hand market. I think it would have been an interesting offer at the price they initially considered.

I suspect world events have scuppered them slightly. Shame, as I probably would have got one to go alongside my SteamDeck. Lucky I'm more into indie puzzle games than AAA FPS these days.

Even without world events I think it would have been a bit too overpriced.
