The stakes of a “risk” are lower when you’re already cancelled.

This was produced before they knew they were cancelled

I love SNW, and I love the big swings it keeps taking, and I really, really hope this episode doesn't turn out to be its "jump the shark" moment. Maybe it'll be brilliant. Maybe I'm just scarred by the Community puppet episode. At least they brought in Farscape vets Jim Henson’s Creature Shop.

They stuck the landing on the musical episode so I have faith.

I’m pretty comfortable with their swings now and have a lot of faith. Also….4.5 seasons….can you actually jump the shark in that period of time?

I mean, Happy Days coined the term at the beginning of season 5, so there's certainly precedent. But I agree that there's a lot of precedent to trust the crew and, at worst, withhold judgment until we see it. It may be brilliant.
