What am I telling about myself if I say that if they think doing Sybok without Angel is good enough they're out of their minds?

That you aren't paying attention. (That wasn't Sybok.)

I guess my faith that the real Sybok and Angel are going to appear in one of the 9 remaining episodes is low.

This 2 through 5 chunk of the rankings is so fluid and dang close. It’s hard!!!

Totally agree! But I also absolutely loved "Like Chronitons Through the Hourglass." (I think more than most.) I think it is an absolute #StarTrek deconstruction with so much #TOS and #TNG DNA at its core. I just think it was perfect. It's a strong No. 2 for me and imminently rewatchable.

The more I think about “Chronitons,” the more I am leaning toward your love for it. I immediately liked it and enjoyed a pure Pike story and the Inner Light parallels. The father-daughter story was perfect.

Totally love the TOS & TNG DNA. The finger snap TOS boing, the robes, Kal-toh…all of that was great and well done. The soap opera gimmick was well-deployed and it honestly surprised me that Pike’s story was where they were heading. A great little spin that makes part of the bumpy season 3 better.
