I feel guilty complaining about my 5-episode run on Warp Factor Five when @tyranicus.net and @alextperry.bsky.social finished their 2nd season batch of Enterprise. Marauders is a wonderfully guilty pleasure episode for me, a 3.5 for sure! But the rest, yeah, tough run.

This is where I post from

Just re-read “Prime Directive” early in the summer and my gosh, what a stellar ST novel. Top 5 for me easily.

Me coming home after five days at #STLV to see the damage my son did to the side of his car.

Post you from a different era in your life.

Had an incredible time at #stlv. But one of the highlights was the last couple of hours with @alextperry.bsky.social @trekranks.com @tyranicus.net @isolinearchip.bsky.social @jmac-ref.bsky.social @mhansen0207.bsky.social Warp 5 that I’ll be back.

Why is my wife calling me out on my smiles? #stlv (She had a POINT THO)

If any of my #STLV mutuals are up for a +1 (moi) for dinner tonight, I’d love to tag along!

A Number One way to start the day at #STLV.

And I have arrived at STLV!

@drakkorex.bsky.social For someone’s FIRST STLV, looking at all of the options on the schedule, what is one thing I should NOT MISS?

I had SO MUCH FUN with this recording! It was an honor to be chosen for a new pod and I was *genuinely nervous* that I would screw it up! Thank you, Alex for the invite and I hope everyone enjoys this batch of Enterprise.

Hot damn, listening to @alextperry.bsky.social and @drakkorex.bsky.social talk STLV and I’m getting so excited to be there in just a week for my first one!

Cat checkpoint!

Hey @timmiller.bsky.social finally seen one in the wild in deep red South Carolina. Let JVL know.

Name your top 15 shows ever, gut instincts only: Star Trek Enterprise Lost Arrested Development Damages (Season 1) Slow Horses Justified Better Call Saul Ozark The Good Place Veep Longmire Hannibal 12 Monkeys Ted Lasso Star Trek The Original Series

As the dad of teenage boys, I have to get them tuxes each year for prom season. Luckily, the best shop in town has an amazing 90s Star Trek figure collection.

As always, I had a great time discussing Trek with Alex!

Great job to two assholes and Michael on the longest episode of @trekranks.com ever! All the love for Starfleet Academy. @eatatquarks.bsky.social @michaelangie.bsky.social

For the FIRST TIME since CBS All Access came about, I’ve cancelled Paramount+. I’ll reactivate when SNW comes in the summer for 10 weeks. Only here for #startrek and not for right wing media kingpins.

Great job to @jonfucius.bsky.social and @ryanthomasriddle.com on this week’s @trekranks.com! Great picks and great episode, Jim!

@timmiller.bsky.social “Living the spirit of aloha” - perfection.

Today’s episode of Starfleet Academy will absolutely go into my Top 5 Episodes That Make You Cry Like A Baby, @trekranks.com

Unfortunately watched quite a few “goodbye” films lately. Tonight for Robert Duvall was “The Apostle”. Not only a great acting turn for him, but he also wrote and directed. Growing up in the south, I saw a handful of real life people like his Sonny/Apostle EF character. RIP, Robert.

How is the weakest track to Russo’s new Starfleet Academy Season 1 score the Opening Titles? Some real great, I mean all-timers, in here.

My wife has fostered dogs since I’ve known her and we’ve had easily 70+ dogs through the house into their permanent homes. Every so often, I get to name them and I always pick a Star Trek name. This one has been such a great boy with a perfect name: General Martok, aka Marty.

All time Joseph Sisko line: “The main thing is the control panel’s all cleaned up.” Shadows and Symbols, after Ezri’s bout of space sickness.

The #1 movie when you were 10 years old is how your 2026 is going to go. 😳

My  Music Replay put me in the Top 1000 for Dennis McCarthy and Jeff Russo (Jeff isn’t even my top 5 Star Trek composer). But the wild thing is it had Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga’s “Shallow” as my most listened to song. I’m certain I’ve not listened to it once this year, let alone 25 times.
