I've created a labeler for the game dev industry here on Bluesky, but first, it's time for a bit of tutorialisation... WTF is a labeler‽ 🧵

Hey, I did a new thing! I set up a labeller for the games industry. I've gone through a few folx that I already had on lists, but if you want one of the labels applied to you just ping the labeller and I'll get you added when I can. 😁 @ozone.birb.house

Hello ! What's the difference between shutting off and hiding the label ? (The two outer options, I don't know how they are called in English)

(Also, I don't understand why showing the label is the default option)

Since labelers are originally intended as moderation tools, the 3 options next to a label are for changing how the labels impact your feed. Off - badge not visible, won’t impact your feed Show - badge is visible, won’t impact your feed Hide - hide items from your feed

With the Games Industry Labeler, you never want to select Hide since it means content from those users will never show up for you (it’s essentially a mute button).
