FWIW, I've had to answer the "do I count as a game dev?" question so many times since starting the labeler. I hate it. I hate it because there's no reason you _shouldn't_ call yourself a game dev. It literally just means "I make games." It doesn't matter if it's a AAA title or an IF, you make games.

All the gatekeeping that happens is hot fucking garbage, and I'll shout that from the rooftops for the rest of my days.

I will never tell someone else they don't count as a gamedev yet. But I'll do it to myself all day.
