Here I am on the corner supporting the woman rally in Tehachapi 6=24-26. I am on the corner of the famers market every Thursday and I attend all the rallies I can. I just don't have the resources to travel far. However making a statement here in a small red town is at least something.

As a side note I can report that not 1 person flipped me off at the farmers market when I carried this sign. I think the MAGA's where embarrassed and didn't know how to react. One approached me and tried to defend their save act, and when I pointed out that what he was saying was lies he left.

I always wonder about that. I hear tRump bloviate about his crowd size so much, it likely does matter to some of them. In FL we did Tuesday at spineless Rubios office for yrs. I went if I was able to get off work. Some times it was just 3-4 of us & folks would honk & give the 👍

This was the 4th anniversary of the Dobbs decision/women's rights thing. That being said, he has also marched with Farm Workers, has protested the California City detention center and marched with Doleres Huertas (UFW). Being his wife, I can attest: He's a keeper and makes his grandkids proud.🩷

Most seem to forget that every animal or human thought or animal or human made project on this earth started in the womb or reproductive organs of a female. It will continue to be this way until IVG or something equivalent becomes viable. Just think if females didn't give birth to life...🤷‍♂️

Agreed, also write letters to the editor of your local paper. As another suggestion working for a candidate that is challenging the incumbent. All of which I do, including showing up to local community groups to voice my opionion.

Sam I have stood with signs 137 times against Trump since Feb 7, 2025, usually alone. I know it is risky, but I am lucky that most of the responses I get are positive and that I am retired and able to do it. We anti-regime outnumber his supporters.

While I detest defending 98% of the democrats, there is little comparison between democrats and republicans except for right-wing policies. But consider this: some 60% of the country won't claim either party. My parents raised an American, I have been a registered independent for forty-plus years.

I do what I can when and where I can. But I agree - too many people who may have their heads & hearts in the right place are sitting on the sidelines. Some sit out because of excuses, some get picky about sharing space with other protesters who support things they don’t. I consider that nitpicky.

If I go to a big protest and there are pro-Palestinian people there loudly condemning Israel, I don’t consider myself fully aligned with them just because they’re there. I want Palestinians to be free of indiscriminate violence, but also want Jews to be safe & have a homeland. 1/2

Some people might think I’m supporting Palestine when I’m not actively doing so. Others may feel I’m not supporting them enough given the injustices being heaped upon them. I let others parse that. I don’t feel I’m betraying my ideals by being in a large protest with different factions present.
