Thank you so much for this information. Just lost my 17 yr chihuahua 🐕💔💔💔. As a senior on a fixed income, the vet costs is the ONLY thing keeping me from having another dog. It’s become 2 expensive. I miss her so much. Maybe I’ll look into this. 👍🫶🐕❤️

Our beloved Foundling Poe passed away a few months ago! He would 💖to lounge out back on his cushy chair! Last night someone came to the park, adjacent to our back yard & blew off fireworks🎇! I immediately said "Gotta get Poe!" So to everyone who lost a beloved pet last year, Forever in our💞!

OMG is there ANYTHING I can do for my boy dogs while our baby girl is in heat? She's getting spayed in 2 weeks. I wish I had done it before her first cycle. I've never experienced anything like this! We keep them separated, but my goodness, it's hard. 😭😭😭😭 She's on day 15.... Is it almost over? 🙏😭

Boy I could have used this a couple of weeks ago.. just lost my pup of 13 after a diabetes dx. I suspect she had it for awhile as she was losing weight. By the time I started her on insulin she was already very sick. I wanted to speed up the insulin dose progression but my vet wouldn’t.

I’m looking for a vet provider who offers international travel credential certification for my cat to return to her home country of Costa Rica with me. I’m currently in Los Angeles. Local vets ask $700+, which is prohibitively expensive. I’ve told my spouse she lives here now until price drops.

Hi! Yes, you'll interact with verified vets in the app. We’ve designed a system to categorize questions, and only verified vets can comment to ensure accurate information. We’ll share some Q&A here, but care-related conversations will only happen in the app. Thanks for the understanding!

Thanks for your interest! We’d love to have holistic vets join our platform—their unique perspectives would be a huge asset to pet owners and their animals. If you know any who might be interested, we’d be excited to connect!

Our community needs everyone's support. If you want to support this community, you can subscribe to enable longer posts and images or videos. We are also working on adding a donation system to support an emergency fund for pet medical bills such as surgery. We wish you would join and support us.

Thanks for being here! My friend has a veterinary euthanasia practice. She has taken care of two of our babies, and neutered my male kitty on the kitchen counter! She’s the best.

At what age is a 45-50 lb hound/Shepherd/Retriever mix considered middle aged? Also what can we do for our dogs besides good diet, exercise, flea & hw prevention & vaccinations to help them be as active & healthy for as long as possible

It was in a commercial flock. They had two cases. Both flocks were culled. Hopefully, it will keep it in check. Commercial grade facilities have high bio security to help limit the spread of diseases.

My dog has had a dry cough that comes in three's followed by a burp of sorts. She does this several times throughout the day. She is thirteen. It has been a few weeks I was hoping it would pass but it hasn't. Any suggestions?

I just downloaded the app and asked my first question! One note: you don't have Wire (or Wire-Haired) Fox Terriers available under your breed listing when creating a profile for your dog. I had to choose other.

Regarding your question, we apologize for any confusion. If you’d like feedback specifically from veterinarians, you can post it in the ‘Question’ section. But it is totally fine as it now stays in the community section. I think vets will still see it!

I am very allergic, but want living creatures in the house. I have had large aquariums in the past, but no room now. Have picked out an 8 gallon tank, what fish would do well, and what about shrimp?

My cousin’s lab has never been neutered. I went to visit a few years ago and the dog lifted his leg and peed on my leg. All over my nice white sneakers too. I think it is mean and irresponsible to not neuter… 😿 that dog is almost 10 now… 🤦‍♀️
