every time I use fast/ultrafast, it is a personal failure that means I am not multitasking enough. "oh you wasted 2x or 6x the token cost to achieve the exact same thing just because you didn't want to wait instead of doing 40 things at once on normal speed?"

The problem with ultrafast is that window transitions from cmd-tab don’t get any faster so I can’t keep up.

Fwiw, the most efficient/skilled swe I work with does everything exclusively on ultrafast, and only really works on one thing at a time. He mentioned once that the cost is worth it because multitasking kills his own personal context and slows him down overall.
