The President's war with Iran is such a fiasco that he's now back to threatening to commit war crimes. This is wrong and must stop. Congress needs to end this war, not rubber stamp a $1.5 trillion military budget.

Trump: "From this point forward, any time Iran shoots at a ship in the Strait of Hormuz, whether it be by Missile, Rocket, Drone, or any other device or weapon, the US will bomb and destroy ONE BRIDGE OR POWER PLANT, including those located next to, or in, the Capital City of Tehran."

He won't stop or won't be stopped by this Congress. If you haven't paid attention, he can't be intimidated and he won't give up and back down. Only by exposing in detail his participation in sex crimes with Epstein can you deal him a blow that ends his tyranny. Institutions and the law failed us.

"Congress needs to..." Liz, you're IN Congress. Right now. I know. So walk down the hall, win over from GOP senate votes -- maybe start with Murkowski, Cassidy, ,etc. Seriously, do some politicking and get some damn votes.

But this Congress will rubber stamp it because the kickbacks are incredible. Mucho Bucks! Congress will bend over backwards to get tons of pocket money. Military contractors and manufacturers and lobbyists will be banging at Congressional members doors.

This is 100% on Republicans to deal with. They, and only they, have the power to reign in the mad king, remove the drunken secretary of defense and end the war.

AND,,, what about his new Nuclear Deal with the Saudis?!! Absolutely INSANE especially considering that the Saudis refused to sign any safety agreements!😡😡😡😡

Trump's war on Iran is not a fiasco at all; it is a precise plan. every time the war starts, stock goes up millionaires sell it. every time the war goes down, millionaires buy it. The war in Iran is about nothing else. let's be clear on that.

Then stop funding it. Stop funding anything Trump Wants. Don’t confirm any cabinet positions, especially an AG who admittedly works for one man. Congress is complicit.

Just so we follow the bouncing ball, Trump can threaten whatever he wants. If the US military does it, that is on them as individuals, units, and branches of service. "I was following orders" is the most morally vacant excuse ever. Leaders lead, puppets wait for their strings to get pulled.

trump is doubling down. He refuses to admit a mistake and instead proceeds with even more confidence and aggression. trump is not deterred by prosecution for war crimes. 😠

Keep in mind that Ike cut DOD spending by 30%. And that was in the middle of the Cold War, with 3 million Soviet troops in the field. That said, Ike stayed out wars, like Indochina, and he also did not go into Hungary in '56. Be like Ike. 1/2

At the same time, Ike had a top marginal tax rate of 91%. He used it to pay down the debt incurred from WW2. He also built out the IS highway system. And, I would argue, that the behemoth of an economy that he ushered in served to win the Cold War. It wasn't Reagan making speeches, it was Ike. 2/2

I'll say it again. Any room Trump walks into, he is immediately the dumbest person in that room. Any phone conversation he is a part of, he is the stupidest person on that call. Any time he answers a question, he erases all doubt as to how ignorant he is.

We have an uneducated evil moron playing with bombs and risking everything for everyone around this country and the world. You all should be on your republican colleagues everyday shaming them for allowing it.

That won't happen. Congress has proven itself to be useless and complicit. The US people need to end the war... and end the fascist regime that started the war. Or the people can just continue to stare slack-jawed at their TVs and phones, doing as much as Congress.

Trump has seen Netanyahu get applauded by Republicans and Democrat leadership for committing war crimes, so why should he feel any shame for publicly threatening war crimes himself? Congress should have shame and act like an actual check and/or balance on executive power, but there's no urgency.

Yes @warren.senate.gov the ILLEGAL war in Iran MUST END & the perpetrator - TRUMP - who moved into war without required approvals should be imprisoned YET SHOCKINGLY UNBELIEVABLY once again you think if you talk you've done your job - you direct CONGRESS TO STOP IT - STOP TALKING & GET IT DONE

The GOP have control of congress... Remember in 2024 when the oneline left stayed home because they didn't want the Democrats to have power? Yeah, well this is what it's like when the Democrats don't have any power to stop Trump.

Given there are reports we’ve already bombed water facilities and food storage, think we’ve passed the ‘war crimes’ threshold already. Side note, but feels like Congress should at least be briefed on what we’re blowing up using taxpayer dollars?

Senile feeb possibly delusional but informed by undocumented military intelligence that says Iran’s ally China is aggressively ramping up stockpiling of 3km ICBMs to delete our military presence in the Mediterranean while ®️s in congress don’t have clearance to see the public information available.

Senator, do you support #impeachment ? Will you publicly call for articles to be filed, and pressure the House to pursue impeachment? #trump is a danger to the American people and American democracy. Shouldn’t all of you be working on removing him from power, 24/7?

Start with making your colleagues vote on whether the US condones actions that violate our own policies and laws, let alone the ICC. Then tie it to this specific war.
