These “firings” are unlawful. Talk to a labor attorney make sure it is okay for you not to go into work, or they will cite you for dereliction of duty later on. Look into class action suits. You have contracts & these are terminations without merit by a non-approved entity non-department!

None of this reporting looks at the thousands of contractors hired to do federal work. Are any of them subject to staff reductions? Why only federal employees?

It’s hard to see how the Washington Post presents itself as an independent voice of journalism anymore. Given the fact that everything is run by musk or Trump before it’s printed, the post is now essentially state-run propaganda.
