Help Ice detain and disappear random brown ppl without even an admin warrant, judicial warrant or deportation order? To bodily remove a US senator from a press conferences for asking a Q?! NO! I QUIT.” Pff

Under the new administration “we found our battle rhythm”.. Wait. What? Your “battle rhythm”? He went on to say, helping ICE. Leopards eating faces. Is it any surprise? It’s smelled like rotting fish since Hoover.

Thank you for sharing this Mr. Weissmann. A first hand account of just how low we have become as a nation under this regime. It makes a mockery of this holiday and leaves me with a hollow feeling on the 4th of July.

Were the Democrats to regain power, they would have to go through the agencies and do exactly the same thing to all the Trump leftovers. And this would repeat with each new government. Whatever else you believe, it seems clear that the system itself is bankrupt. It is now way too late to go back.

Not knocking your profession but I've often told folks that laws don't make things function or not, 𝘱𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘺 does! Laws are static or slowly moving rulesets, policy on the other hand can turn on a dime as this article shows. If there's laws to be followed rest assured policy will find a way around it.

But wait, Patel assured Congress that it’s not an enemies list, just a glossary. No retribution planned. Reminds me of Trump”s claim that he was unaware of Project 2025. RFK Jr.’s claim that he won’t fire the advisory board. Bondi’s claim that she’ll support the constitution. Never believed a word.
