Following months of activism, 1,500 beagles are being released from the Ridglan Farms testing facility to animal rescue groups: the Beagle Freedom Project and Big Dog Ranch Rescue. To all the dogs being released, we wish you many years in loving homes. 14/10 for all

😭😭😭 Fantastic! To all involved you are good people, nah, wonderful people, have a good life boys and girls, you deserve it, run in fields, beaches, up the stairs, jump on beds, run free.::

It’s not decorum that stops it. It’s hypocrisy around “ human rights”. Decorum died with democracy. The Epstein files are laden with perfectly effective test subjects. Billionaires. Jan 6 nuts. Paedophiles. Never a paucity of suitable human subjects.

There are a serious amount of ninja-dogs in these videos cutting onions. Especially with the one pup shaking so much and the boy calms the pup right down as well as the one with the golden running to protect its human as stay at its humans side. I love dogs! So very much! ❤️

Please, please do not adopt a beagle unless you do research first. They dig, dig out in the yard, under the fence, etc. These dogs are bred for hunting. They hunt anything. So be prepared for holes, howling, barking, yowling. They can be trained. But hunting is bred into them.

Our hunting pack farm dog rescue beagle doesn't do the typical behaviors. He howls only when we do. He doesn't dig, and he is very respectful of our food. I know they're not all like ours, but some are out there.

A childhood neighbor bred beagles, and many neighbors had bought puppies from them over the years. Daily, one howl ignited a neighborhood chorus. At least a couple of times a month a beagle would escape, liberate friends, and soon a baying pack would be gleefully undermining fences everywhere.

Our beagle dug a tunnel under our fence and was in our neighbor’s yard when I went in the house to go to the bathroom! They brought her back, thank goodness! Hard to take them on a walk because they sniff every blade of grass. But we loved Minnie. Here she is asking for another walk at age 16!

We “adopted” an 18-month old and her two mixed breed pups that were dropped off in the night. She would literally eat through steel mesh fencing if she couldn’t dig under. 11 years later she has mellowed some but is still a brat. Sons are better behaved.

I had a beagle for 16 yrs and yeah when she was a pup she was a handful but long walks in the morning and short walks later in the day they are all good especially with a full belly….theyll take 8 naps a day but will be top notch security and would bark at those unfamiliar so not much…great dog!

I did not say they were bad dogs. I said to do the research. Some people do not have the time for such a high energy animal. It is the same with a husky. Just do the reseach, before getting a dog. My convo stemmed bc the animals in the research lab was were being adopted out.

Awwww! I wanna beagle. I've always wanted a beagle since I was just learning how to read Peanuts comic strips. Can I call him Snoopy or would that be too on the nose?

Thank you for protecting the beagles. As we all should know, the historically most prolific mass-killer-and-torturer of beagles is Dr. Anthony Fauci. He's also the most prolific serial killer of humans in human history but that's another matter. bfp.org/beagle-org-d...

Actually, this is inspiration for everyone who's showing up everyday at ICE detention centers across the country. There are countless people out there doing this hard work and stories like this remind everyone that the seemingly impossible is possible if you join the fight and don't give up.

One great example from here in Massachusetts. What started with two people a year ago has ballooned into a full scale, organized protest movement. It targets one ICE facility with a "bearing witness" approach that doesn't make it easy for DHS to do its work in anonymity. www.wbur.org/news/2026/03...

All testing on animals should be illegal! The people and researchers who claim it’s needed to advance medicine to save humans is absurd. Animals aren’t people. People need to be the volunteers. Leave the animals alone. It’s a vile and immoral practice.

To quote my rabbi: “Miracles happen. They take a lot of work.” Thank you for this uplifting, hopeful news. We remain a good-hearted people even while our leadership is a bunch of corrupt scumbags.

The contraption he’s wearing in the 3rd photo is a GPS tracker mandated by the rescue when he first brought him home for a “trial period” (like we were gonna give him back lol!) I didn’t want anyone thinking it was one of those anti-bark zapper things (no judgement, just not our thing)

Why I love Rescue. I was involved with a rescue of multiple dogs for operating facility. The dogs were in terrible condition some blind standing in buckets of poo no food. While not used to human touch, They ended up in a Safe Shelter. Foster families. Adopted. Until there are none Rescue ONE 🐕❤️

It is wonderful news, but they’re all not being released. They all need to be removed from this facility, and it should be permanently closed. We should no longer be testing on animals. Do not buy any products who test on animals.

NGL, I read this too fast, and only got through "1500 beagles are being released" before thinking "What, like, into the wild? Can they survive on their own?" More careful reading led me to cheering for the pups and the rescuers. Great job!

Thank you activist volunteers! My name is Natasha (Tasha). I am 1 of 4000 Beagles saved from the Envigo breeding facility in Cumberland, VA, & adopted by my mom. The facility closed in 2022 after a lawsuit by the U.S. Department of Justice. I now live a happy life in freedom I never knew before!

I ❤️ rescue pups! BEST dog I ever had was rescue. SMILED! Current rescue was BIGGEST challenge, severe anxiety separation & afraid of touches. Took a LONG time, but 5 yrs later, he's SPOILED BRAT! No crate needed, moans/talks/demands tuck-ins & pets. ❤️ my beautiful good boy!

Fuck those labs testing on animals and to the assholes who perform these experiments are just as bad🖕 How do you sleep at night???

Now THIS is the kind of news we need right now! My daughter has been following this case closely and keeping me updated. She works with dogs and was so happy this was happening as am I!

Trigger warning: I used to be a large animal groom for the Ohio State Vet School hospital. A couple of times I had to get supplies from storage in the Small Animal hospital, near where they kept many blood donor dogs, all beagles, in very loud & crowded conditions that still haunt me 30 years later.

The cats that were donors had a pretty good life. They lived with free mobility in big areas of the hospital offices, wandering the halls & curling up on laps and office furniture of the staff like beloved house cats. I never understood the double standard and said so as long as I worked there.

My goodness. This just made my whole year! Thank you so much for all your dedication and commitment to this. I’m at a loss of words. My tears are flowing for all these pups who get a chance at a dog life. Oh my!!! 🥲 happy happy tears!!
