《J'aime les chiens d'une très vieille et très fidèle tendresse. Je les aime parce qu'ils pardonnent toujours 》Albert Camus La Chute "I love dogs with a longstanding and very profound fondness. I love them because they always forgive"

I'm a 3 time (different cancers) warrior, including breast cancer. Winter is my hero!🫡🥲 And Theodora is the Michael Phelps of the doggie agility world. (His arm span is huge; I don't know the correct term for it.) I can't believe where she started the jump versus where the jump actually was!

I wish I could 'love' this post hundreds of times! Thanks for the smiles this morning. In a world of 24/7 ugliness, hatred & pain, we all need your 3 minutes of adorable, funny, intelligent, strong & caring moments with Nature's best creations. #dogsarelove

Your posts make life much better for me, and I'm so grateful. The country is being devastated and I have a devastating chronic disease. But my 4 rescues keep me company, a huge gift. And the stories you tell and the magnificent work you do lift my heart and make me laugh. Thank you so much.

I vote for Canis Major (The Bigger Dog), the constellation which contains Sirius, the Dog Star, the brightest star in the sky, whose heliacal rising marks the Dog Days, the hot days of late summer.

dog walker here wearing your & Drennon Davis gear for my shortened sessions today. I hope everyone treats this as the hazardous weather conditions and keeps the pets indoors (hopefully with air filters) except for essential elimination needs.

I just wear it outside- n95s with an exhale vent are also helpful. I wore one later today as I’m now doing indoor errands away from home. The outside already has soot on the front. Get a good air purifier, they also make for perfect white noise.

The last story hit me. I live in the SFBA, it’s generally not safe for a woman to walk alone in some places and even on trails. My friend has a pack like this including several German shepherds; I’ve never felt unsafe walking or hiking with her pack.

Holy crap, San Francisco Bay Area? My God, can't they figure out how to make it safe enough for us to just get some fresh air & exercise? Glad you at least have a friend with a pack of GSDs

Well, I said some areas. Trail hiking in my area has always made me nervous, but a pack of 10 large dogs, some of which are off leash, keeps us feeling safe….mostly from rogue mom cows. Haha. It’s generally an urban area tho so we have to be careful, lots of weirdos out there.
