Yet another thing the president doesn't actually have the power to do with an EO

Thank you, Catherine!

Well, I send my outrage, pleas & demands to my Congressman (one of the most venal of the GOP) nearly every day. I remind him 2 year term is nothing in a political life, & when he loses he won’t have OUR marble-lined office bldg to go to work in or fabulous health plans

This is absolute BS! Get that nutcase out of the WH!

How much would the subscription fee cost if you were to use these to compensate for the withdrawal of federal funding? I am sure others would like to know. I also think that PBS and NPR, without government funding, would improve democracy.

NP. I saw it above your post

The PBS graphic board showing a clinched fist against Trump

Do not know what all the fuss is about since only a small fraction of funds comes from the government. NPR & PBS will survive without government money.

Signed up to help gbh and wbur!

Illegal

Get it through the thick numbskull of a "President" we have that CONGRESS decides what gets federally funded and what doesn't?

Can’t quantify how much time I’ve spent/wasted calling mine. Absolutely nothing changes (on their end)

They want the ability to investigate their alternative income sources. Meaning if you donate, EXPECT to be investigated.

Maybe ATC and other news programs on NPR, will regret falling over themselves to make tDump seem moderate and not insane. How about using the actual word ‘lie’ when discussing the crap tDump was saying, this might have helped. They attempted to placate the tyrants and guess what happened!
