So Tesla just dropped its Q1 numbers and... 😬. The company brought in 20 percent less automotive revenue in the first quarter compared to last year, and profits? Down 71%. Let's get into it... 🔗 www.wired.com/story/tesla-...

This is but a foretaste of the retributive justice that will be dished out to Musk for many, many years to come. America will neither forgive nor forget the evil this man has perpetrated against our people and our democracy. We will persevere, grow strong again, and bring Musk to justice.

And it should—cross your fingers—get worse, because Musk has earned it. There need to be more consequences for being a vile human being. I feel bad for the employees, but Tesla’s board should be trying to push Musk OUT. Honestly, the employees should just build a new company from the ground up.

Politically, Musk is loathesome. But a longer term argument against Tesla is that it's poorly run. No succession plan, even temporarily. No new designs in the pipeline. Maybe he was a better leader once but now? This is a publicly traded co. Its board is enabling Musk to perhaps a criminal degree.

Yet somehow the stock is up with the reasoning that if this is as bad as it gets for Tesla then it's all good news from here out. I don't see how Tesla can recover its brand damage without being rid of Elon.

Consumer reaction to Musk really activated in mid February, halfway through Q1. Tesla's Q2 is where the full impact of public rejection of Musk's political activity will be felt. But Tesla has always been the cash cow that underwrote Musk's other businesses.

I honestly don't understand why Full Self Driving is Tesla's Holy Grail, when they've already been beaten to the market years ago. Waymo has been providing driverless taxis since 2020 and continues to roll it out in cities across America and overseas.

Is the part that wasn’t mentioned in Tesla’s investor update—the growing global backlash tied to Elon Musk’s political ties. This has led to a boycott of Tesla’s cars and mass protests across North America and Europe. 🔗 www.wired.com/story/tesla-...

Shocking to see how gullible Wall Street dollars are. Tesla stock up massively since publishing the awful quarterly results, and the primary investor logic seems to be that Musk will solve everything by spending more time on Tesla. News flash, morons: those customers you lost aren't coming back.

Objectively speaking, a CEO who is either unwilling or unable to recognize the motivation of highly-damaging market forces to the company and change courses for the protection of the company must be removed by its board members. It is their fiduciary responsibility or else they can be held liable.

Do people really not know how branding and advertising work? Tesla’s whole brand was—help boy genius Elon Musk save the planet in hi-tech luxury in your luxuriously appointed Tesla. Tesla’s target market is exactly the well heeled person who is ideologically against what he believes.

This proves that money does not equal intelligence. He believed he would look good, but there is no logic. A maker of electric vehicles joined the party who hates them and then attacked his market. The world hates him and he is poison.

America can survive a problematic Tesla corporation. There are many alternative electric car manufacturers. America can't survive a severely damaged, weakened Central Government. Government is a core essential element of any civilized society. A robust Government is essential for economic growth!

And this year is just getting started... It's good to remember: Even as Musk tries to keep a lower profile, he's still connected with all the people he's installed in DOGE and other departments. Make no mistake, he will continue to influence and profit, even if we can't see it.

Imagine if DJT hadn't made his "Donny's Qualitee Motors" pitch at the White House, announcing plans to buy a Tesla.* Perhaps those numbers would have been even further in the toilet—or less so; I can't decide. *BTW, has anyone seen the vehicle "at the place" yet?
