Condescending, much? I didn't 'flee' Twitter, I just had enough of wading in a cesspit owned by uber narcissist Elon Musk. If that makes me a 'lefty', so be it.

Come on now. You can do better. "After the Na** takeover at Elon Musk's Twitter, the people who didn't want to fuel fascism fled to Bluesky." CEO Jay Graber might want to watch what is happening over at Target before he invites the Na**s to takeover this platform Social media is becoming AM radio

I didn't leave Twitter till I started to get suspended for having a voice or an opinion - I also was never rude either, Just stated facts - Even here on Bluesky, I abbreviate not popular words rather than upsetting people - I did the same over on Twitter too -

I hate when they say we 'fled' twitter.. Kinda condescending. I prefer to think we left the drek to stew in their own bigotry on what soon became a pornography website anyway.

‪ In fact, it was anti-far right who abandoned X. This includes Lincoln Project and many climate scientists who were fed up with deluge of X's fake news and conspiracy theories. Contrary to what Wired says, it's X that can't take a joke. X's idea of humor is based on humiliation and cruelty.

Near as I can tell the intellectuals also fled the oligarch controlled platform promoting conspiracies, idiocy, and hatred. Let's hope that as BlueSky becomes more popular and lucrative Graber doesn't conform to the old Power Corrupts motif, or we'll be seeking new spaces again

"All the lefties fled to Bluesky following Elon Musk’s Twitter takeover." More correctly, we *left* Twitter when it became clear that Musk would tolerate and encourage the most vile, false lies to be posted as "true facts"

Lord knows us trans folk left to not be constantly harassed and humiliated like back on Twitter. It's even worse now on the hellsite supposedly.

She’s not wrong… yesterday, a person whose bio includes #MAGA commented politely to disagree w/a post I made. I replied that we’ll have to agree to disagree because “reasons”and thanks for courteous response. He replied,”Thank you, best wishes.” This place is so not that place..

This is all good, but this platform has been consistently banning and suppressing Palestinians desperately trying to survive a genocide through donations and informing the public of their experiences. Black folk have also been labeled as discriminatory for speaking out against white supremacy.

This post is unavailable.

To organize an inclusive platform for everyone, people need to be able to freely speak on their experiences concerning genocidal violence stemming from Christofascist, cisheteropatriarchal, capitalistic white supremacist colonialism without fears of suppressing. That is not the case, currently.

I hope you all push for a more inclusive platform protecting the speech and lives of marginalized folk actively. While this letter specifically addresses the suppression of Palestinians, please keep in mind this fight goes beyond that - including removing content from artists for nsfw material.

Another social media savior promising to rescue us from the last social media savior! Bluesky's 'revolution' sounds delightfully familiar like every cocktail party where someone declares they'll reinvent conversation. Meanwhile, we're all still just gossiping, aren't we?

I’m not a ‘leftie’- I left Twitter because it was full of bots, flooded with adverts, run by a moron and populated by a lot of weird people. BlueSky seemed to be like Twitter used to be. And so far, it still is and it’s getting better all the time.
