Now they’re going to do some facial recognition and then join that to all the data DOGE has and we have full blown surveillance economy and government. Technology allows all of this to be done so not science fiction.

Predator drones over LA? That's like Bitcoin's decentralized network getting a federal takeover - not exactly what the protesters signed up for. What's next, a blockchain-based surveillance state?

A book I'd recommend is Spencer Ackerman's "Reign of Terror," it was released in 2021 and perfectly predicted what's happening now. In a nutshell the thesis of the book is that all of the tactics and equipment the US used abroad in the war on terror has been brought back home.

It's not the armament, it's the surveillance you have to worry about. These things can listen to cell phones & by that I mean activate their mics whether you are talking on it or not, camera too. They are collecting names & data

Huh. Remember when those weird drones were flying over New Jersey in the night with no lights on and the govt kept telling people it was all a nothing-burger? apnews.com/article/fbi-... Numerous drone sightings in New Jersey don't pose safety concern, governor says

apnews.comNumerous drone sightings in New Jersey don't pose safety concern, governor saysDozens of drone sightings across New Jersey in recent weeks don’t appear to pose a public safety concern. That's what Gov. Phil Murphy stressed Monday.

Abbott in TX is deploying his NG, now Kehoe Missouri. We're about to learn the value of intelligent leadership and commitment to the U.S. Constitution once we compare what's happening in L.A. to the disastrous outcomes we'll see in MAGA governed states. Sadly, mmw

Years ago, I predicted that the first use of drones by the American government, on American soil, against American citizens, would occur in my lifetime. It's here, and the next tragic, despicable step is coming.

“Military gear has been used for domestic law enforcement for a long time, but flying military gear over LA at a time when the president has sent military units against the wishes of the governor is noteworthy," says Matthew Feeney, longtime tech researcher and advocacy manager at Big Brother Watch.

In practice, it is unclear how the Predator surveillance could “support” ICE agents and other federal law enforcement without monitoring the protests and capturing images of protesters. Read more:

Someday, we'll have helicopters capable of monitoring civil unrest at a moment's notice. There's no way the government would embrace the horrific optics of "Predator" drones circling over our cities unless they had no other choice. (Note To Twits: This is sarcasm.)

Sadly, this administration is being let to do keep doing these kind of things. The top military officers are just letting it happen without any protest. A guy that came up with an excuse to not be enlisted and has so mucked the military, he has been allowed to do whatever with the military, shame
