Sure beats a subscription to any streaming services on tv. Way cheaper. Well researched and written news that is cheaper than my own local/online news. I don’t like sound bites. I prefer to read from sources that don’t parrot other news.

i get that its annoying and i dont like it too, but there are far worse things to be annoyed about, and there are almost always way to circumvent it anyways

Both of these articles are free. Gifted articles. Yes, otherwise journalists and media folks should be paid. A standard digital subscription is $24/ year. I’ve 3 places to pay; wired isn’t one. But to follow this Dolan stuff? 🧐.

News outlets historically did both subscriptions AND ad revenue. I know you’re quoting to point out the ridiculousness of it, but expanding on how ignorant people can be. Really, smartphones ruined everything — I say from my smartphone.
