It may seem unfamiliar at first glance, but multiple rounds of feedback were considered to finalize this effort. The results are exciting - a clearer set of signs to address navigation decisions at key decision points.

What’s the history/explanation of the non-alphabetical ordering of the lines? Seems like putting S and Y last would be helpful in combination with the IAD/DCA icons. As it is, you might interpret B as going to IAD and G as going to DCA.

How do customers know from this signage to specifically take silver line to Dulles?

Cancel this awful decision NOW! Halt the work and revert the signage to what has worked well for Washingtonians and tourists alike for decades. No one asked for this and literally not a single Washingtonian has positive feedback about it. You’re a semi-public entity and are beholden to The People

I’m surprised with Twitter. It’s rare accounts there do the right thing hahah. Meanwhile, on Facebook everyone is blindly and suspiciously praising it.

This is awful and no one wants this. Why are you spending a ton of money to replace perfectly fine signage with a downgrade? Listen to your customers! They are all over the internet decrying how bad this is! Fire Sarah Meyer! She’s trying to copy and paste New York’s bad wayfinding onto our system!
