So… only the bottom five are not real, right?

No.... the Core ist not Geology! No way, No fucking way! 😂🤣

the liquid mirror juice... 🤤

As a geologist, definitely wouldn’t be watching the core. Journey to the Center of the Earth, maybe. Oh yeah, and our telescopes use sound, not optics!

Noooooo not the core!

Are you sure you'd not prefer the Loeb Citroën Xsara and C4 instead? He got 9 stars with Citroën and none with focus.

The forbidden liquid mirror juice.

I stared through an oscilloscope once.

yum

Good 'ol cardboard tube.

TIL English uses telescope indiscriminately for reflecting and refracting apparatus. Absolutely barbaric!

Quale usi @scrutacieli.bsky.social ?

I both want and dread a compact gravitational telescope.

Still my favorite "looks totally fake, but nope, a real type of telescope" is the aerial telescope: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aerial_... consists of a boy atop a pole, a precision ground lens, a rope down to an observer, who uses it to find the focal distance and shouts to the boy to adjust the angle.

That is my question too!
