What? No, to make something good happen you must appease some superstitious force that means you harm.
That how the superstition industry called religion works, anyway.
Ok, this is a good strip but... I think I may have actually trained myself to believe that anything bad that happens is my fault because I listen to the wrong music or something.
Thank you for opening my eyes on this.
Well, I don't understand quantum mechanics, or electricity for that matter, not really. And no one does, not without years upon years of studying. It's impossible to actually know everything the humanity knows at this point. We just have to believe.
It’s a two way street though. If my team gets a touchdown every time I use the restroom, I am personally contributing to their win because I have a bladder the size of a lentil. Win!
Cool. I got this joke as I have done Rabbit Rabbit Rabbit for a number of years. I need a wiki to explain lots of cartoons UK, France, Canada, etc political jokes though
When I was a kid, if you were sitting by a campfire, and the smoke blew your way, you said, “Rabbit!” to make it switch directions again. The success was rate was poor and demonstrated an underlying lack of caring for your friends on the other side of the fire!
My older brother forgot where you said when trick-or-treating his first Halloween that he went out. Instead he said "rabbit, rabbit".
So you can also say it on Halloween (or whenever you want! Use it as a greeting!)
Title text: "It's important to teach yourself to feel responsible for random events, because with great responsibility comes great power. That's what my wise Uncle Ben told me right before he died; he might still be alive today if only I'd said rabbit rabbit that year!"
