As i thought you need many bananas, so it might be easier to burn the bananas to power the house 🤷🏻‍♂️

The ash would have WAY more K40 per mass than the fruit or any biomass. In fact, when China and India were friendlier, there was a joint project to capture thorium from coal ash to try to run experimental reactors. Not sure if it got anywhere but there is some theoretical basis. Remove the carbon.
