I wish people unionized everywhere across all sectors. Instead so many of us have to deal with waste fraud and abuse in the form of misspent funds on antiunion consultants, pithy “merit increases,” pizza & donuts, and the constant “other duties as assigned” workloads. Do more with less. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I don't want flying cars. I want clean water. I want a stable climate. I want bees to survive.

I just don’t understand why people are so anti-union/anti-worker and so pro-corporate/pro-business. Everyone benefits with unions. Only the top echelon and the favorites reap benefits without one. Baffling, indeed.

Spent the day going being simultaneously amused and baffled by just how egregiously in violation of the NLRA my workplace is with its unionbusting tactics. I can’t wait to contact the NLRB and file against them.

Woo hoo. My workplace is about to start holding captive audience union busting meetings with this anti-union consulting firm leading the meetings and getting $475 and hour for them instead of paying us well and keeping us adequately staffed and keeping communication open 🤦🏻‍♀️ lrionline.com

I really want to bring a sign and put it in my office that says “Our employer can’t give us reasonable raises or wages but can spend $1.7M on marketing and $475/hr on antiunion consultants” and bring it to the meeting or whenever I walk between our buildings now 😅

Every time there’s a stink bug buzzing around in my house I have to wonder am I hearing an insect, lawn care or construction tools outside, or a helicopter or drone and we’re under the path? 🤦🏻‍♀️

Just had a local college student democrats org member stop by canvassing & reminding people to vote blue for our local elections. Absolutely. The local MAGAts need to go far away from office so people can stop dying. #sonyamassey

There are many pathways to recovery. People do recover.

25 years ago today, George W. Bush signed the 2001 Authorization for Use of Military Force into law. Barbara Lee was the only member of Congress to vote against it, warning it would be a blank check for forever wars. History has proven her lonely and courageous vote right.

Anyone who denies white privilege exists clearly is in denial and has not followed this case and would be pleased by this new development. He does not deserve a position where he can repeat his abuses of BIPOC.

So it looks like my car is going to bite the big one. The PCM has gone haywire, causing random codes galore. Thus in the grand scheme of things, my car essentially had a stroke and is now as useless and unreliable as Mitch McConnell and John Fetterman. 🫠

Remember when Amazon raised over $50 million for independent bookstores? Oh, no wait, that was us. 😎 Thank you for choosing bookstores over billionaires. 💜

Trump is always zero-sum because he believes that helping others takes away from HIM. Even when he appears to be doing something for others, there’s a loophole that is an attempt to get more for him. Until he and others stop believing in zero-sum just like believing in trickle-down, it’s a mess.

Trump's rage at Canada is so unhinged that GOPers are now leaking that his trade war is a huge problem in the midterms. The big story here: MAGA zero-sum economics is a substantive *and* political disaster. On the pod @zackbeauchamp.bsky.social explains this so well: newrepublic.com/article/2152...

Labor Day belongs to WORKERS. Full stop. Today is about the workers who keep this country running and the power we have when we stand together. #LaborDay2026

This is brilliant and I’d love to see SCOTUS try to explain away this

"That is not blindness. That is white sight by design." A Hawaii Supreme Court Justice just used 8 pages of a legal opinion to call out the Roberts Court for racism, citing Dred Scott and Plessy v. Ferguson. @DavidCayJ says other state courts should follow.

Why has Trump been attacking unions and workers’ rights? He wants working people to feel helpless and divided. Trump and his billionaire backers realize that the collective power of a unified labor movement outweighs their own power. Know this: Workers outnumber the oligarchs.

I fully accept “we’re all gonna die!” as a radical acceptance motto. What I don’t accept is merely going belly up and refusing to live until then and not working towards change…any small change we can make is helpful, starting with exposing the coverups that so many corporations are doing.

When 3M scientist Kris Hansen discovered that a chemical the company produced was in the blood of the general public, her bosses questioned her work. Yet all along, some people inside the company had known the same thing. Listen to this excerpt:
