This commitments are anywhere from $500-$1800. You will get one name. You must send a screenshot of the completed donation to me on signal. Do it alone or as a group. There are no tax implications for you receiving this money on Venmo as long as they are “personal gifts” and not over $19,000.

I currently have 12 families in need by tomorrow. If you feel like you can do this in time, really commit, and get it done ASAP, please send me a message on signal at asiniiwiikwe.72 and I will send you a family.

There aren’t any tax implications for receiving amounts OVER $19k either. The tax burden is on the gift-giver. Also, that $19k amount is per person, per donor. So if a donor gives individual donations to multiple recipients in the same family, they can give up to $19k per person.

And the “tax implication” is just filing a form to ensure you don’t exceed some $1+ million lifetime gift limit between any two people. It seems silly for poor folks, but it’s to prevent rich people from avoiding even more taxes than they already do.
