Gundam Seed viewing thread:

A better link, as it is from the authors: "Individuals with the most negative views of women and gender equality are the most likely to support [transgender sports] bans."
i'm going to be honest, i don't think all those posts where things start out being about one subject and end up being about Winston from Overwatch are that funny.
I think they would be better if they were about a young witch trying to solve the disappearance of her neighbour's cat in a small villag
"sexy vase" theory of female protagonist critique remains undefeated, by which I mean, if you replaced the heroine with a visually pleasing vase that people desired to possess, would any beat of the story change?
functionally the same as the wilson "the odyssey" (2026) takes where a subject matter expert in a field tries to use their expertise to judge a different field. it is not that wilson or shultz'd opinions have no validity in assessing adaptation, it's more they aren't engaging film as a medium.

Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

Hatsune may have been the one to write that line about wanting to imprison Sakiko in Imprisoned XII and the first of the two to express that desire, but Sakiko's way ahead of her on acting on that kind of feeling, huh?
Sakiko forming Ave Mujica by reaching out to the girl she remembered gazing at the stars with, her kind and gentle moon, and shaping the entire band around her. Sakiko deliberately trying to steer the band from the start so that the other four would be ensnared for life, as Nyamu pointed out.

...but they're cheap, nihilistic exploitation flicks with no real redeeming value.
engaging in literally any online fandom discussion will have you land in a conversation where someone expertly points out a million and one writing decisions that all contribute to the overall theme of a work and then very powerfully conclude it was all entirely accidental and dogshit actually
